During a recent dive trip off the coast of British Columbia, several divers were swarmed by a pod of steller sea lions!
Now, don’t be alarmed. These pinnipeds are known for their curious and playful disposition when it comes to humans in the water.
National Geographic Wildlife documentarian Bertie Gregory is no stranger to interesting animals and even managed to call the experience, “absolute magic.”
Gregory related the playfulness and passive nature of the pinnipeds to “hanging out with a group of giant underwater dogs.”
