1) CINDERELLA — Powder Blue Tang
Definitely one of the most notable Disney princesses, the “powder blue” body of this tang definitely looks just right alongside the dress that Cinderella dons for the ball! The yellow fin at the top also tops it off perfectly, as if Cinderella kept her beautiful blonde hair! Bippity boppity boo!
2) RAPUNZEL — Longfin Anthias
Quick, when you think of Rapunzel, what is that you think of? Long blonde hair? For sure! The longfin might not have that: but it definitely has long fins! Well, okay, not really. But the yellow stripe down the its back resembles her hair pretty well. And the pink body underneath it? Perfect for her dress!
3) SNOW WHITE — Queen Angelfish
Ready to whistle while you work? The Queen Angelfish might be! Snow White might be her name, but the yellow and blue dress that she wears is pretty significant, too. Which is why this is the perfect contender for her! Plenty of yellow and a very perfect mix of blue to balance it out.
4) MERIDA — Red Lionfish
Fiery, red, and great with arrows— or, spines, in the case of the lionfish. The “mane” of spines is also pretty similar to Merida’s red mane of curls!
5) BELLE — French Angelfish
Bonjour, bonjour! If the name didn’t say it enough, the French Angelfish’s beautiful yellow accents make it stand out among the rest— just like it would stand out in a quiet village or in a beast’s castle, too!
6) AURORA — Helfrichi Firefish
Now, we know this fish doesn’t look like it’s sleeping, but it DOES look like it’s ready to meet its prince charming, with the beautiful purple and white along its body and fins! Also, it again captures Princess Aurora’s blonde hair with the distinct yellow face!
7) MULAN — Lyretail Anthias
Beautiful? Check. Ready to fight? Check. Could probably take down the huns? Well… the lyretail anthias could need to work on that. The dominant females of these fish also have a tendency to change genders, if it’s necessary. Like if a male of their group dies— or their father is too injured, and they must step up to defend China and keep their family’s honor… just us? No?
8) ANNA — Princess Basslet
Introducing… Princess… Anna! Or the princess basslet, since this fish with its pink lower body, to the reddish upper body looks so much like Anna. And then, to top it all off… that stripe of yellow looks particularly like a white stripe on its human twin.
9) ELSA — Queen Triggerfish
Last but not least, she isn’t a princess anymore, but neither is the Queen Triggerfish. Also, what’s a list containing Anna without mentioning her big sister? This fish not only resembles Elsa with the beautiful light blue hue, but also it can “change color somewhat to match its surroundings, or if subjected to stress.” Coronation to “Ice Queen” Elsa, anyone?
