Scuba diving is one of the best ways to get up close and personal with marine life in their natural habitat.
For one Norwegian diver, his up close encounter got a little too personal.
Snorre E. Johnson was diving at the Moltke wreck near Magnetic Island off the coast of Queensland, Australia when something amazing yet bizarre occurred.
A remora fish — also known as suckerfish — attached itself to Mr. Johnson’s crotch area. The diver did not freak out, as most of us would, but instead signaled to his friend to capture the encounter with their GoPro camera.
Mr. Johnson was wearing a 2-3mm wetsuit so the suction did not cause any pain but he said he could definitely feel it!
