If you are looking to find some cuteness, then look no further! These zoos from around the world have recently welcomed a new source of cuteness into the world.
Santa Barbara Zoo has an adorable baby giraffe. Although she is little for a giraffe, she is already 6 feet tall! He name is Amirah, which means princess in Swahili.
The Denver Zoo recently welcomed a new Sumatran orangutan that is a critically endangered species. She will be on display with her mother soon.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio recently welcomed five Asian small-clawed otter pups into their family. Not only are they cute, but also important ambassadors to their endangered species. You should be able to see them sometime in late spring.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s Wildlife Park recently welcome a polar bear cub. He was the first to be born in the UK in 25 years.
Nashville Zoo’s newest member is a Baird’s tapir. He was born on March 7th and currently weighs 22 pounds. He is representing another imperiled species well.
All of these young animals will serve as representatives of their species and hopefully inspire visitors to actually care about their endangered populations from around the globe.
