101 Dalmatians is one of the most disturbing kids movies ever.
Let’s be honest. What’s creepier than a criminal walking into your house and taking your pet? But at the end of the Disney movie, children are reassured that all the puppies got home safe and sound.
Nothing that bad could happen in real life, could it?
PETA is the new Cruella de Vil and they will go to your house.
PETA will snatch your dog.
PETA will kill it.
It’s an easy metaphor, but does not do justice to the anger you should feel about this. And you should let that anger forever remind you about who PETA really is.
According to WAVY in Accomack, VA, Maya the chihuahua was one little girl’s best friend. Her father, Wilbur Cerate, got the little dog for his daughter when they moved to the East Coast from Mexico and made sure the dog had a good life in their home and was well cared for.
Cerate noticed Maya was missing when he got home one Saturday in October.
“My chihuahua, when she sees my car, she comes to me,” Cerate said. “That Saturday she did not come.”
Upon checking his security camera, Maya’s owner was appalled. The video shows a van with “PETA” on the side back up to his driveway, two women get out of the van, walk up to the porch and take Maya. They put her in the back of the van and drove away.
The young girl, the dog’s best friend, was devastated.
“I was angry. I understand they pick up my dog, if it was in a tree or another place, but this is my house,” Cerate said.
But this horrific tale gets worse.
The two women from PETA had the audacity to drive back to his house three days later with a fruit basket to tell him that they euthanized Maya. Because a fruit basket can make up for cold-blooded killing.
Let this sink in: PETA deliberately drove to someone’s private property, stole a family pet and then killed her.
We’re so disgusted we had to look up multiple articles to make sure there wasn’t some terrible mistake.
Because the women didn’t offer Cerate any proof of Maya’s euthanization, he called the police and rightfully thought the women should be held accountable for their despicable actions.
Accomack County Sheriff Todd Godwin told WAVY.com, one of the first news outlets to report on this tragedy, he charged the PETA workers with larceny. He said pets are considered personal property, but even with video evidence the local commonwealth’s attorney told WAVY.com he dropped the charges because there wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute.
The Sheriff said the video does not show “criminal intent” so he will not be taking the case to court.
The American people should demand justice. PETA has declined to comment or offer a reason as to why Maya was taken and this is unacceptable.
Of course they wouldn’t. They are cowards. They are evil.
Watch this video and try not to feel outrage:
PETA lies to you every time they mention how they care about animals. They don’t. They kill thousands upon thousands of animals each year and they don’t give a damn because gullible people continue to donate to their “cause”.
PETA continually peddles lies and deceit surrounding alleged “abuse” at aquariums and this appalling instance of pet-nabbing is only one example in the long list of PETA’s discretions.
It should be no surprise this happened in Virginia. The state where PETA was busted killed all but a few of their shelter pets.
Stop supporting killers. See the truth.
