Kaimana The Seal Pup Is Up For Adoption And We’re Totally Losing Our Cool

Who does not love baby seals? I think it is safe to say that everyone absolutely loves baby seals. Well this is your chance to adopt a monk seal pup! Kaimana the monk seal pup was the first Hawaiian monk seal to be born on Waikiki in years and now she is up for adoption.

Kaimana is one of four pups that will be featured at a fundraiser for marine mammal conservation. Unfortunately adopting Kaimana does not mean you get to bring her home and snuggle, but it is okay because she deserves to be free in the ocean. If you are lucky enough to adopt her you will receive a certificate of adoption, a large framed photo and a trip to see Kaimana in her natural habitat.

The event is being hosted to raise money for the Hawaii Marine Animal Response, the proceeds of the event will help the organization to continue its mission of preserving Hawaii’s protected marine species for years to come.

If you can make it to Hawaii by Friday, October 20th, then definitely stop by for your chance to “adopt” Kaimana.
