Amazing Pictures Of One Of The World’s Largest Gathering Of Life

This is one of the world’s greatest spectacles. Millions of sardines gathered in the waters off the coast of South Africa.

It happens to be one of the largest underwater buffets, as well. Marine life flock to the shoals of sardines to gorge themselves. The schools can grow to nine miles long, 130 feet deep and two miles wide. So big that it can be seen from space!
