Leave it to the Australians to combine cage diving and beer drinking.

Adventure Bay Charters in South Australia has launched the first 360 degree glass viewing pod for people who want to have an up close encounter with great white sharks, stay dry at the same time and enjoy a cold beer.

The Aqua Sub suspends from a boat and affords up to six guests a chance see great white sharks in their natural environment. A standing dive cage is suspended along side the Aqua Sub for the more adventurous folks. You know, the ones that don’t mind getting wet.

We’re betting this can still be a bit unnerving when you get eyeball-to-eyeball with one of the oceans top predators. Anyway, well done Australia.
