Fancy Meeting You Here….Sperm Whale

Scientist aboard the research vessel Nautilus had a very rare encounter with a sperm whale off the coast of Louisiana recently. The encounter happened about 2000 feet below the surface.

You never know what you’re going to run into.

The giant whale surprised the crew when it paid an inspection visit to the ship’s remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Hercules.
