Jeff Corwin’s Catch Breaks a World Record!

Jeff Corwin has broken a world record with his latest catch – a 14 foot long, 8 foot wide giant freshwater stingray.

The team behind Ocean Mysteries and the world’s leading specialist on stingrays, Dr. Ning, were both present for this catch, collecting information for a study on conservation of these animals.

The awesome picture posted to Jeff Corwin’s Facebook page shows the team releasing the animal back into the water in Thailand. The stingray is doing “well and thriving.”

This catch will be featured in a future episode of Ocean Mysteries on ABC.
