What’s more heartwarming than a soldier coming home to their family?
Not a lot.
Last Friday afternoon Sergeant Allen, a U.S. Marine, was reunited with his wife and kids at SeaWorld San Diego.
Per tradition, before the One Ocean Shamu show began, the speaker asked all military families to stand and be recognized. As Crystal Allen stood with her children, the announcer spoke directly to them asking the kids if they were ready to see their dad.
Moments later Sgt. Michael Allen appeared surprising his children. It was beautiful!
Srg. Allen had been serving our country in the Middle East for a little over seven months. Upon his return, the Allens planned the SeaWorld reunion as a surprise for the older kids. Sgt. Allen did meet his four month old daughter for the first time the day before.
The kids were beyond surprised and even more happy that their daddy was coming home!
You can watch the reunion video here but fair warning — you will most likely start crying!
As this family’s emotional reunion warms our hearts, please remember to keep all of the men and women that continue to serve our country and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
