Video: A Sea Lion’s New Snack

Well isn’t this just adorable?

We have to hand it to this guy (insert rim shot here), this video is so darn cute that you probably would almost want the little guy to get your hand. I look at this charming creature and I see him following the hand of this human similarly to how I follow the pen of my eye doctor.

Sea lions are some of the cutest animals around. If you’re having a bad day, simply google “baby sea lions” and feel your heart slowly melt like ice cream on a hot summer’s day. Sea lions happen to be some of the most sociable animals which is why you see them in zoos and marine parks.

If we want to continue see these adorable creatures be playful behind the glass of the tank he lives in, we must all do our part to keep make sure sea lions are safe and happy not just at Zoos and Marine Parks but also out in the wild.

Marine parks and zoos take in sea lions for multiple reasons; some are sick, injured or maybe even abandoned. Parks and zoos also help to educate the general public of the effects of humans on sea lions’  natural environments.

We should all be thankful that such organizations exist, because not only are they caring for these creatures, but they give us a chance to interact with them in a safe and controlled environment.
