This Whale Has Comic Timing!

If you’ve ever watched Last Comic Standing, you know that stand-up comedy ain’t easy! But this whale has some natural talents!

Here’s what happened:

Zoologist Mark Carwardine was on a boat and narrating about how hard it is to spot blue whales in the wild for the TV Show Big Blue Live. “We’ve spent all day since first light looking in one of the world’s great hotspots for blue whales. Haven’t seen a thing,” he said to the camera.

“Being whales, they’re spending most of their lives underwater, out of sight, so we could be going right by them and have no idea they’re there. It just makes it so challenging, and it’s quite exciting in one way, but it’s very frustrating in another. You know they’re here but you just jolly well can’t find them.”

Look again, Mark. There’s a blue whale behind you.

Check out the video above to see the exact moment where Mark realized the elusive whale he was talking about made a well-timed appearance.
