You Won’t Believe What Makes This Drone Video Even More Remarkable

Paddle boarders and drones – they’re everywhere.

Jaimen Hudson captured this incredible video of two Southern Right whales swimming near his neighbor, Dave Price, in Western Australia. He told Mashable about the experience of filming the scene:

“It just so happened that he was out at the time, and a few people let me know there were whales on the beach and it all just went from there,” Hudson explained. “They were really curious and came over to meet [Dave] … Just very inquisitive about him, I don’t think it was really that dangerous at all.”

What makes this video even more remarkable is that Hudson was injured in a motorcycle accident and is a quadriplegic.

According to Mashable, he manipulates the drone’s controls with his thumbs and shifting his shoulders.
