Wildlife videographer David Riggs captured some truly incredible footage of killer whales at play using a specialized camera rig he designed.  The outcome is breathtaking.

The clip is part of a series titled Hunt for the Super Predator by The Smithsonian Channel.

This footage was captured while a team of scientists were studying marine animals that had congregated at Bremer Canyon, located off Western Australia’s coast.

The underwater views occur approximately at 01:30 in the video.  The footage shows a small, playful pod of killer whales expressing interest in the camera rig, and following the boat along its course.

The Killer Whales are truly breathtaking to watch.
