You’re Funding HSUS – “Discover…the Scam”
We’re frankly disappointed and disgusted to have to write this article.
But you deserve to know the truth.
Discover Card should listen up – or you should end your business with Discover Card.
It seems some dim-bulb executive at the credit card company, Discover, failed to understand that Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a corrupt organization that fools people into thinking that they are a affiliated with local animal shelters.
So what did they do? Discover recently announced a partnership in the form of an “affinity card” with proceeds going to fund HSUS.
Why is this a bad idea?
Because the HSUS is, as The Washington Times notes, a deceptive, predatory organization that continually cashes in on American’s emotionally-motivated generosity to fund their radical agenda.
They’re part of the animal rights groups leading the charge against zoos and aquaria and they’ll stop at nothing to get their way.
For more details on their agenda and the devious tactics they use to coax money from unsuspecting donors, read our earlier article on how and why the HSUS lost their charity rating.
Cliffs Notes?
1) HSUS only give 1% of it’s money to animals causes
2) HSUS had to pay $15.8 million to settle a RICO suit involving bribery and fraud
3) They lost their charity status by respected CharityWatch
While many of the organization’s donors believe they’re saving poor puppies and kittens, they’re actually funding radical lobbyists, lying to judges, paying themselves soaring salaries and attacking respected zoos and aquariums.
That’s right. According to the Washington Times, the Humane Society and a handful of other animal-rights groups had to write a $15.8 million check to the iconic circus for damages resulting from a dishonest 14-year smear campaign to bar elephants from the big top.
The animal rights groups found a former employee and paid him $190,000 to pull out all the stops and graphically create a court room spectacle chalk-full of lies. Not surprisingly, his testimony didn’t hold up and was discredited by video evidence.
For shame.

With media covering the lawsuits, well-published “Donor Advisory” and “C-minus” charity ratings from reputable third-party sources, and the knowledge that only 1% of money raised going to local shelters, we’re baffled as to why Discover would choose to associate with the HSUS.
Why would Discover want to support an organization that misleads the American people and relies on emotional commercials to swindle viewers out of millions of dollars?
HumaneWatch.org, the “watchdog” of the HSUS, has had enough and launched their own campaign to boycott Discover until they drop their partnership with the despicable HSUS.
Sign the petition and tell Discover you’re demanding accountability.
Walk away, Discover. Just walk away.
