The Motives Behind PETA’s Attacks on SeaWorld
Think you know why animal rights activists continually attack SeaWorld?
If your answer has anything to do with animal abuse or the treatment of orcas, you would be wrong.
The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the producers of Blackfish and other radical animal activists use abuse allegations as rhetorical tools to further an agenda that most Americans would not agree with.
Last week, Jeff Stier, a Health Policy Expert at the National Center for Public Policy Research, published an article inspecting the motives behind the continued SeaWorld attacks.
Blackfish has been the extremists’ primary tool in convincing people that SeaWorld mistreats their animals.
By carefully editing interviews and using false claims, the movie Blackfish has created a following against a corporation that they know nothing about.
Even after trainers like Bridgette Pirtle came forward saying that the film was manipulative and exploited the truth solely for the purpose of attention, PETA and other activists continue to use it as their primary source against SeaWorld.
Isn’t it odd that they continue using a source that has been debunked?
No. This radical campaign has nothing to do with what actually happens in SeaWorld and other accredited zoos and aquariums, the sole motivation behind the crazies is called total animal liberation.
The president of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk, has said, “When it comes to pain, love, joy, loneliness and fear, a rat is a pig is a dog is a boy. Each one values his or her life and fights the knife.”
To PETA and their members, all animals, including humans, are exactly the same and should have the same rights.
PETA views an orca in its tank the same way they view milking a cow, owning a dog or eating an egg.
By hiding behind Blackfish, PETA can recruit emotionally unstable followers and deliberately mislead them to initiate a change that will affect the way society interacts with all animals.
Do you really believe that dogs and cats should not be pets? Do you think that eating an egg is cruel?
It is time for everyone to do their own investigations into the motives behind PETA and realize that their fight isn’t against SeaWorld. It’s against anyone that benefits from any animal.
We ask that you share this information and educate others so that PETA and other activists cannot use you or the people you know to further an agenda you don’t believe in.
