The 10 best #MoviesMadeBetterWithSharks posters

Right now #MoviesMadeBetterWithSharks is trending on Twitter. Even SeaWorld and Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week” got involved with the fun. Awesome Ocean decided to feature the 10 best movie posters we found, with some commentary:

1. “Dad, what are you doing? It’s ‘Shark Week’!”. Two oddball step-sharks become best buds in the gill-splitting comedy, “Sharkbrothers”.

2. This military drama follows a team of sharks as they search the ocean for their culprit. Just a thought, you might not want to call them “S.E.A.L. Team 6”.

3. What’s better than the thought of Tom Selleck and his two buddies, strolling around town, living the bachelor life with a baby great white? Nothing! That’s why this sequel needs to be made. Disclaimer: Babysitting sharks is not advised.

4. When this mobster makes you an offer that you can’t refuse, you might want to swim away. Sleeping with the fishes takes on a whole new meaning when you watch, “The SharkFather”.

5. Get busy swimmin’, or get busy dyin’. Contemplate the meaning of life while you watch this wise shark escape prison in, “The SharkShark Redemption”.

6. Why so serious? Well, that is the theme of #MoviesMadeBetterWithSharks. The “hero the ocean deserves” plays Batman in, “The Shark Knight”.

7. Clearwater Threshers’ mascot, Phinley, decided to enlist himself as the next Marvel superhero. In his submission to #MoviesMadeBetterWithSharks, Phinley depicted himself as “Cap-Phin America”. Watch out Chris Evans, there is a new hero in town!

8. Cap-Phin America’s avenger pal, Thor, seems to have gotten himself in quite the predicament. The Asgardian god of thunder must become god of the ocean in, “Thor: The SHARK World”. Maybe he should call Aquaman?

9. Something tells us that a great white wouldn’t be afraid of a bunny rabbit. The king of the ocean stars in the cult classic, “Donnie Sharko”.

10. The only thing scarier than a theme park overrun by dinosaurs would be one taken over by sharks. “Hold on to your butts!” while watching, “Jurassic Shark”. 65 million years in the making? Try 400 million years in the making!

We love this hashtag, as it brings more attention to our neighbors in the sea. Over 73 million sharks are killed from shark finning every year.
