Life for most sessile animals (animals that spend their lives attached to something else) has got to be pretty boring. Especially, when it comes to their dating game.

Most of these animals just shoot their reproductive cells out into the blue and cross their fingers … no physical contact … no fun…

So how has the barnacle managed to spice up its love life?

They have a HUGE secret that all men will be jealous of …

Barnacles that act as males have really really really long … well you get it.

It can stretch out to be eight times the length of their body.

In comparison to other animals, it’s actually the longest male reproductive organ relative to body size!

It just keeps going and going…
