VIDEO: Shark and Seal Play Cat and Mouse
It’s a classic game of cat and mouse … but with a great white shark and a seal.
And just like you remember from all those episodes of Tom and Jerry, the prey sometimes has a few tricks up their sleeve to evade capture.
Researchers with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy captured this moment. As you can see, the great white shark on the prowl leaps from the water in pursuit of this seal just off the coast of Massachusetts.
