This Zebra Shark Just Needs A Hug

A diver at an aquarium is minding his own business cleaning the glass when an adorable zebra shark swims up to him just looking for a cuddle.

The zebra shark first wants to be held, floating motionless close to the diver.

Then BOOM! Belly Rub Time.

At aquariums all over the world, experts have been learning that you can not only train some species of sharks, but some sharks downright love interacting with their trainers.

Its exciting to see sea life, other than marine mammals, benefiting from positive reinforcement training and participating in voluntary play time.

This video makes it is clear that this shark really loves interacting with its trainers. It also helps to dispel the myths that sharks are simply blood thirsty animals just waiting to kill.

Sharks are smarter than scientists first thought and seeing the bond between a trainer and a shark is incredibly inspirational.
