Actor Jason Biggs Advocates Violence Against Women Over SeaWorld

Actor Jason Biggs, who is famously known for a romantic scene with a pastry in the teen flick  American Pie, has recently been in hot water over a cruel and insensitive tweet he made about the recent Malaysian Airlines crash in Ukraine.

Biggs has been praised recently over his participation in the popular Netflix series Orange is the New Black that takes place in a woman’s prison, and then made controversial waves when he starred in a crude and vulgar anti-SeaWorld commercial paid for by PETA.

Biggs admitted to Buzzfeed back in May that his opinion of SeaWorld was based on seeing the debunked documentary Blackfish and reading tweets on Twitter.

Amongst all this controversy, it has now been uncovered that back in October of last year, after Biggs read Twitter and saw the film, he took to Twitter to advocate violence against women, simply because the mom bought her son a Shamu plush at SeaWorld.

While Biggs might think he was being funny, it is never comical to advocate “punching his mom in the face”, especially when his opinion was formed from a 90 minute film and tweets on Twitter.

We hope that Biggs eventually visits SeaWorld for himself to get a truly informed opinion.
