9. An Immersive Celebration Space
The main gallery at the Mystic Aquarium offered beautiful color and lighting all on its own. Our guests enjoyed dinner among tropical fish, sharks, and rays.
8. Surprise Animal Interactions
In the center of the gallery, guests were given the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and touch white-spotted bamboo sharks. A member of the educational staff was on-hand to teach our guests some fun facts about the animals they were interacting with.
7. Beluga Whales!
Our ceremony took place at the underwater viewing panel of Mystic Aquarium’s Arctic Coast. Juno, a highly social, interactive beluga whale joined us for the entire duration of our ceremony. We had an impromptu shower of icy salt water when he gave a big breath at the top of the glass!

By hosting our wedding with Mystic Aquarium/Sea Research, we were able to help fund various aquarium operations including animal care, exhibit maintenance, veterinary supplies and more!

We’ve been told by our guests that our wedding was the most unique event they’ve ever attended. They celebrated our marriage with us while learning about amazing marine life in an immersive and interactive setting while the facility was closed to the public. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our wedding turned out. Everything was perfect!
