SeaWorld Donates Money to the Living Coast Discovery Center

Christmas came early this year at the Living Coast Discovery Center, which was the recipient of a grant from the SeaWorld-Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.  On June 30th, Aquatica by SeaWorld presented the Chula Vista facility with a check for $2,500 that will go towards animal care and helping the people in the local community connect with animals.

Some of the animals that are found at the Living Coast Discovery Center were originally from SeaWorld.  The funds were raised by people at SeaWorld as part of a fund raising effort for the Living Coast Discovery Center.

It is great to see SeaWorld helping other zoos in their local community!  For those who aren’t familiar with SeaWorld’s conservation efforts, they aren’t just domestic.  The SeaWorld-Busch Gardens Conservation Fund has projects on every continent that help to preserve and conserve our natural world.
