Nowadays, it’s almost expected to celebrate holidays for longer than just one day. Halloween is no exception. Why celebrate just on October 31st, when you can squeeze in as many parties and costume combos as possible during the whole month?
These 21 fish are taking the festivities to new depths… they are ALWAYS Halloween ready. And for that, we must recognize their 365-day commitment to All Hallows’ Eve.
1.) Clown Fish
Clowns may be getting a bad rap these days, but that doesn’t stop this fish from putting a smile on people’s faces.
2.) Giant Devil Ray
The devil costume is a classic DIY go-to, but this ray is taking it to a sleek new level.
3.) Goblin Shark
WOAH. Someone’s got to keep it real… real scary that is. Get out of the way of this grumpy goblin fish.
4.) Long Finned Batfish
This is one of the more elegant bat costumes we’ve seen. We think the Halloween colors are a nice touch too.
5.) Vampire Squid
We have a feeling that you might need something stronger than garlic to ward off this squid.
6.) Wolf Fish
“Oh my! Grandma, what big teeth you have.” From the big bad wolf to the classic werewolf, this is a very versatile choice.
7.) Blobfish
For some reason we cannot take our eyes off this slimy thing. Please send for help.
8.) Angler Fish
This fish is never up to any good, so don’t ever expect any treats – tricks only.
9.) Flying Fish
This fish can basically be Superman whenever it wants. We’re kinda jealous.
10.) Sun Fish
This fish is the thing Sheryl Crow songs are made of. Soak it up sun fish, soak it up.
11.) Cat Fish
Raise your hand if you’ve ever been a cat for halloween. This fish at least got the whiskers right. Right?
12.) Red-Lipped Bat Fish
We’re impressed that this fish found the perfect shade of red for everyday wear. Bold. And. Beautiful. Side note: do you think it’s a stain or a gloss?
13.) Lionfish
One thing is for sure, this fish is regal. The king of the jungle transitions flawlessly into the king of the ocean.
14.) Seahorse
Saddle up partner! This marine creature truly embodies what it means to be equine.
15.) Squirrel Fish
To be honest, this fish has probably never even seen a squirrel…. so we guess this deserves an A for effort?
16.) Box Fish
The box fish is just like the kid in your neighborhood who always made their costume out of that year’s household appliance box. Ain’t half bad.
17.) Parrot Fish
Ohhh pretty colors. This parrot fish’s color palette is on point. Pawley want a picture?
18.) Nurse Shark
There’s always one person at the party who dresses up as a nurse. This shark gets to say cool words like “STAT” all year long.
19.) Physhcedelica Frogfish
This is one funky fish. Hands down this is the most natural tie-dye job we’ve ever seen. Groovy.
20.) Stone Fish
The master of disguise… Too bad a lot of people can’t even see this costume. It’s that good.
21.) Carpenter Shark
Mr. Fix-it here is always a hit with the ladies. Nothing is better than a ray in a tool belt.
