Even though it’s April, some of you around the country are STILL getting snowed on. What better way to welcome the warm summer weather than to make yourself some cocktails straight out of the tropical destinations we all dream about?
Blue Hawaii
Get the recipe.
Part vodka and part Blue Curaçao, splashed with sour mix and pineapple juice. Fancy hibiscus garnish required!
Mai Tai
Rum, Grand Marnier, and Lime mixing underneath a tiny umbrella.
Seafoam Sangria
White wine, hypnotiq, and a splash of ginger ale for a little bubbly! A slice of starfuit for a tangy garnish finishes off this refreshing treat.
Piña Colada
Rum, coconut milk, and pineapple juice blended into a frothy delight. Bonus points if you can score a coconut to serve it in!
Paradise
For those that may be a little thirstier than your average beachgoer, this twist on a Paradise cocktail is sure to give you the kick that you need. This gin and apricot brandy cocktail sweetens up with a splash of orange juice.
Beach Martini
Who says James Bond can’t take a beach vacay? This martini calls for citrus vodka, sour mix, a dash of lemon juice, and a splash of Blue Curaçao for color.
Sex on the Beach
And of course, my personal favorite, the Sex on the Beach. Vodka, peach schnapps, and a splash of orange or pineapple juice for color. Since when is drinking like a fish a bad thing?
