An historic snowstorm hit Portland, Oregon earlier this month, blanketing the city in a foot of snow.
While this may have inconvenienced many of Portland’s human residents, the animals at the Oregon zoo didn’t seem to have a problem with the snow day!
Zoo workers braved the weather while the zoo was shut down to see how the animals were doing and what they found was essentially a winter wonderland party.
Watch the adorable footage for yourself below!
Nora, the polar bear spent the day rolling around in the fresh powder. Samudra, the Asian elephant delighted in throwing snow about with his trunk, and the zoo’s seals and sea otters also joined in the fun, chasing each other around and diving through the snow.
As the snow turned to slush, the animals seemed never to tire of the wintery weather and the zoo’s Facebook page continues to post videos of its residents making the most of the season.
Severe snowstorms pummeled the West Coast earlier this month, sending many areas into a state of emergency.
